Departments and other Constituents
The University is organized on the basis of an integrated structure principle, using the department-based structure with common administrative and technical services, which allows an efficient and high-quality way of accomplishing the mission, objectives and development strategy.
The constituents of the University are the Departments which are structured according to the classification of science into areas (social, humanistic, artistic and bio-technical) and fields (economics, education sciences, linguistics, history, music, biology), thus allowing the teaching and scientific research component to be integrated into a whole.
The Departments are structured in the way which acknowledges scientific and functional criteria, as well as particularities of the academic and social context of the University.
