BIOGRAPHY:
Loris Benassi was born in Pula in 1974. He finished primary school in Poreč and the secondary Technical school in Pula. In the period between 1993 to 1995 he was a professional football player. He enrolled to the Faculty of Kinesiology of the University of Zagreb (at the time Faculty of Physical Education) in 1995 and he graduated in 2000. In 2012 he finished the postgraduate study of scientific training in kinesiology at the same faculty. He started his doctoral study of kinesiology at the Faculty of Kinesiology of the University of Zagreb in 2013. He is currently writing his dissertation of the title Latent Structure of Interests for Sports by Secondary School Pupils Having Different Sport Experience. From 2000 to 2001 he worked at the Pazin College - classical high school of Pazin. In the same year he got employed at the Tourist and Catering School Anton Štifanić in Poreč where he worked up to 2007. From 2001 to 2015 he worked as a Physical education teacher in Primary school Poreč, while from 2006 to 2015 he filled the same position in Primary school Joakim Rakovac in Sveti Lovreč. From 2014 to 2015 he worked as external associate teaching the course Kinesiological education for all departments of the Juraj Dobrila University of Pula. Since 2015 he has been employed as assistant at the Faculty of Educational Sciences of the Juraj Dobrila University of Pula.

3. Member of the executive board of the "Poreč-Parenzo" Ski Club
