BIOGRAPHY:
She graduated pedagogy and psychology at the Faculty of Art in Ljubljana in 1975. In 1983 she completed the post graduate master Interdisciplinary study of librarianship, documentation and information sciences at the University of Zagreb, while in 1995 she won her doctorate in pedagogy at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Rijeka. After working in Primary school "S. Vukelić" in Rovinj, she started working at the faculty of Pula in 1979. She was the main researcher in two scientific projects (Ministry of Science, Education and Sport) through which she introduced two junior researchers into the system of higher education; she participated in four national projects and an international one (Slovenia). She was the reviewer and took part into the writing of eight under graduate, graduate and doctoral study programmes in Croatia and Slovenia, she reviewed a large number of scientific papers for collection of papers, scientific journals and books, she edited seven scientific publications, organized three scientific conferences, published a large number of scientific papers and a book and participated in many scientific conferences in the country and abroad. In 2000 she initiated the study of classroom teaching with special emphasis on computer science and English as part of the Higher Teacher Training School in Pula. She took part in teams for the realisation of the Bologna study programmes, for the introduction of the Croatian qualification framework, the nationwide leaving exams, for the design of the Elaborate of founding the Juraj Dobrila University of Pula, as well as for the adaptation and equipment of the Higher Teacher Training School. She was the member of many Committees at the level of Department and Rectory, mentor to many graduation and final thesis. She won the Ministry of Science, Education and Sport letter of thanks for her contribution in the introduction of the nationwide leaving exam into the Croatian school system and the implementation of the programme "Further development of HKO." She was in the leading positions (twice the dean of the Higher Teacher Training School and head of Department for the Education of Teachers and Educators, deputy of the head of Department of Educational Sciences of the Juraj Dobrila University as well as interim head of department). Since 2013 she has been the vice chancellor for academic affairs and students at the Juraj Dobrila University of Pula.
