Sports activities are extremely important for the improvement of communication between teachers and students as well as for the recreation of students without any additional expenses! Besides, sport is socially very important as students can meet new national and international colleagues this way! 

The University is so much dedicated to the development of extra-teaching activities, particularly in the sports field. There are teams active in football, basketball, volleyball, handball, waterpolo, chess, tennis and table tennis, which take part in many Croatian and international university competitions and tournaments as well as in many tournaments throughout Istria. We have also organised dancing courses but have some plans about rowing and sailing. Joining any sports activity, students can choose either to recreate or compete.
